At its founding in 1988, the objective of The Worthington Group was to participate in the rapid growth of Southwest Florida Through the development of private, golf course communities with world-class, resort-style amenities, where membership is included in the home purchase. Since then, the company has expanded its objectives to include land acquisitions and entitlements, the development of golfing and non-golfing communities and commercial real estate in the United States and international markets.
